Description

The Russell Child Development Center - Greenbush is seeking an energetic, outgoing, detailed, and organized individual for the position of RCDC Coordinator to assist the Executive Director, Board of Directors and Program Directors in high level agency management activities to support the planning, implementation, and maintenance of programs including human resources, finance, fundraising, public relations, grants, capital campaign, technology and facilities.

 

Qualifications:

  • Job related experience with increasing levels of responsibility is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in job related area that meets the agency’s prerequisite requirements.
  • Valid driver's license.

Essential job functions include: 

  • Supporting agency leadership in the achievement of overall program and campaign goals
  • Assisting agency leadership with the performance of a variety of personnel functions for the purposes of maintaining adequate staffing, enhancing productivity and complying with legal requirements
  • Assisting and supporting leadership and inter-departmental personnel in the implementation of proper procedures for the purpose of ensuring compliance with established policies and regulatory guidelines related to agency functions
  • Researches a wide variety of topics for the purpose of securing information for administrative purposes
  • Assisting with the development and maintenance of financial information, files and records for the purpose of ensuring the availability of documentation and compliance with established policies and regulatory guidelines
  • Compiles, reports, processes and prepares a wide variety of often complex information and materials in appropriate formats from a wide variety of sources for the purpose of documenting activities and issues; providing reference; analyzing and conveying information; meeting established financial, legal, compliance and/or administrative requirements; providing access to information; authorization for action and/or complying with established practices and procedures
  • Responding to inquiries from a wide variety of sources (employees, partners, vendors, parents, etc.) for the purposes of facilitating communication, providing information, offering solutions, resolving problems, referring to appropriate personnel or outside entities, and developing and maintaining essential relationships
  • Assisting in monitoring assigned agency activities and/or program components for the purpose of meeting target dates, ensuring essential details receive attention, and complying with financial, legal and/or administrative requirements
  • Assisting with the development and maintenance of manual and electronic documents, files and/or records (confidential and non-confidential) (e.g. letters, contracts, policy documents, etc.) for the purpose of providing up-to-date reference for compliance with agency, local, state and federal regulations
  • Participateing in meetings, as assigned, that may frequently involve a range of issues for the purpose of recording, receiving and/or conveying information and supporting leadership
  • Serveing as agency point of contact with contracted capital campaign consultant firm staff and provides internal management and support for all aspects of the capital campaign
  • Manageing capital campaign activities for the purpose of ensuring performance outcomes are achieved within budget and agency objectives
  • Assisting with development and maintenance of detailed records necessary for developing and managing the donor base, meeting timelines, staying within budget, documenting and handling gifts, and developing and carrying out appropriate and timely donor acknowledgements
  • Scheduling and facilitating capital campaign committee meetings and actively participates by keeping accurate minutes, monitoring task completion, providing updates, and answering questions
  • Facilitating communication among all parties including construction manager and architects
  • Developing a plan for scheduling regional meetings and presentations for the Executive Director and other capital campaign committee members to share information about the project
  • Collaborating with the RCDC Communications and Multimedia Specialist and capital campaign committee members in the development of short and long range plans for managing assigned public information responsibilities (e.g. local and regional media, newsletters, website updates, announcements, agency information, etc.) for the purpose of achieving campaign objectives, and ensuring conformance with legal, financial and agency requirements
  • Ensuring information is communicated in an accurate and timely manner as appropriate to each target audience including agency employees, donors, and the general public
  • Attending meetings and events, as assigned, for the purpose of conveying and/or gathering information regarding the capital campaign, supporting other staff or committee members, and serving as an agency representative
  • Adhering to all professional guidelines as outlined in agency policies
  • Performing other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the agency.

The plan provides an opportunity for any Greenbush employee working at least 1,004 hours per year to be reimbursed up to $1200 per contract year for tuition costs.
